FlexiDryer is a multifunctional product designed to solve the common problem of drying clothes during rainy days when outdoor drying isn’t possible. It features a height-adjustable fan with a detachable cloth stand, allowing it to be used as a regular standing fan when needed.
Scope of Work
Lightweight and portable, FlexiDryer can also be carried to hot outdoor areas or camping trips, making it a smart and versatile solution for everyday living all controlled by an app.

Target Audience & Demographics
FlexiDryer appeals to a young-to-middle-aged demographic (roughly 20–45) with middle or higher incomes, spread across urban and outdoors lifestyles. Key segments include apartment dwellers in rain- or humidity‑prone regions, tech-adopting homeowners/renters, travelers/campers, and environmentally conscious shoppers.
These consumers are globally distributed but cluster in areas of dense population and/or outdoor recreation – notably Asia-Pacific cities, Western metropolises, and Western camping regions. They share habits like smartphone connectivity, value efficiency and design, and respond to sustainability. By aligning with these profiles, marketing can be tailored (e.g. IoT features for techies, eco-labeling for green buyers, portability for campers) to reach each demographic effectively.
Brainstorming Solutions & Ideation
After identifying the core problems, I explored multiple solutions through sketches, brainstorming sessions, and concept refinement. Key ideas considered:
1. Integrated drying fan with adjustable height and detachable drying rack.
2. Water collection tray at the base to prevent floor wetting.
3. Multifunctional use - acting as a drying system, standalone fan, and portable fan for outdoor use.
4. Smart control integration via Bluetooth IoT connectivity.
5. Portability with a leather belt for easy carrying.
6. LED lighting for night-time usage and camping needs.
Branding
FlexiDryer’s brand style is built on a foundation of clean, timeless design. It features a monochromatic theme with a focus on usability and aesthetics, combining bold and thin typography for clarity and elegance. The iconography is minimal and line-based, aligning with a clean UI that balances function and form - creating a classic, modern look that feels both refined and intuitive.
CMF Design
FlexiDryer embraces a monochromatic color palette, enhanced with a contrasting leather-texture top layer to evoke a sense of tactile richness and premium character. The core structure utilizes recycled, lightweight plastics to support sustainability without compromising performance, while select components are crafted in brushed aluminum for enhanced durability and a refined industrial aesthetic. The overall form follows a beveled geometric design language - creating a clean, structured silhouette that blends softness and precision.

FlexiDryer quickly converts into a sleek standing fan by removing the cloth stand—ideal for bedrooms, living spaces, or any daily use.
Smart Control with App
FlexiDryer connects via Bluetooth and IoT to the FlexiDryer app, transforming your phone into a seamless remote control. With an intuitive interface, users can adjust speed, timer, and light - anytime, anywhere.
Type-c connectivity
FlexiDryer supports Type-C charging, making it universally compatible and easy to power with a standard cable. A magnetic dock allows seamless attachment of a power bank perfect for portable use, indoors or outdoors.
